DIVISION TWO ROUND UP – 20th February

Win takes FC Box to the summit

FC Box 7 Kingfisher FC 1

A week after they defeated Kingfisher FC 5-2, FC Box hosted the Fishermen in the reverse fixture and with Shoestrings-chargrill sponsored Chippenham Sunday League, Division Two leaders Old Road missing out on a fixture, a 7-1 success for the hosts has seen them claim a share of pole position, but thanks to a better goal difference they occupy the number 1 spot.

Spencer Dymond-Hall netted the opening two goals for FC Box, Andy Woods made it 3-0, Ben Wickens added a fourth before Dymond-Hall who missed out on a hat trick last weekend claimed the match ball, with his third and Box’s fifth of the half.

Adam Loveridge’s goal for Kingfisher was little more than a consolation as Spencer Dymond-Hall bagged his fourth of the contest before Adam Mitchell completed the scoring to seal a 7-1 success and a quick-fire double over Kingfisher in what was their penultimate game of the campaign.
