With two league victories over Semington FC already this season, Chippenham Icons FC hosted the villagers looking to build on their 4-3 and 2-1 success from earlier in the campaign, while the visitors were hoping it would be third time lucky in there shoestrings-chargrill sponsored Chippenham Sunday League, Premier Division showdown.

It may have been the only top flight match of the day and sadly it didn’t produce a goal glut, but like the first two meetings of the sides, this one was decided by an odd goal.

Semington claiming the spoils thanks to a 1-0 success, with Matt Russell’s second half strike separating the side.
