Benger started sharply and it was not long before Josh Hard making his league debut got himself onto the scoresheet and when James Hernandez was pushed in the back in the area Hard had his second of the match from the penalty spot and it remained 2-0 until half time.
Historically, Benger have been renowned for coming unstuck at the start of the second half but it was quite the opposite on this occasion as Hard collected the matchball within minutes of the restart and just a couple of minutes after that, Hard was himself tripped in the box for Benger’s 2nd penalty of the match and it was once again dispatched by Hard.
It was soon 5-0 when Matt White calmly slotted home following a returned cross from a cleared corner.
In true Renegades style, they were not finished by any stretch of the imagination and they were carving a few openings and they capitalised on a poor throw from goalkeeper Dan Hughes and substitute Josh Field took full advantage to slot home.
Ollie Derrick finally got himself on the scoresheet after a fine run and finish and rounding the keeper but it was Renegades who had the last moment of note when Tom A’Court slotted home a penalty for a final score of 6-2.

Celtic Open Season With Win
A match of the W’s at Kingsdown Playing Field as Warminster Athletic FC and Westbury Celtic FC met and it was the latter who walked away the happiest.
WCFC dominated early stages and took lead on 10 minutes and following some great skill in the box Max Bishop was fouled for a penalty. Nick Mead confidently converted the penalty to put Westbury 1-0 up.
On 16 minutes WCFC doubled lead with Max Bishop scoring from close range following a corner which was headed down to him by Dave Peacock.
Warminster began to get more possession and came more into game as the first half progressed but ultimately with little threat on the WCFC goal and it remained 0-2 until the break.
In second half, WCFC again were the team looking most likely to score and created many chances, spurning them all until on 73 minutes, an excellent run and cross from Nick Mead on the left was knocked in to their own net by Grady Dufosee.
6 minutes later, Westbury got a 4th when Chris Steele scored with a half volley from the 18 yard box following good play from Dave Peacock.
However, a lack of concentration by Westbury a minute after the 4th goal saw Warminster score a consolation goal. A hopeful long ball was not dealt with by the Westbury goalkeeper and Christian Clacee turned into the net from close range.
However, that sparked a reaction and WCFC’s 5th and final goal was scored on 83 minutes following the second penalty of the match. The penalty was won by Chris Steele after he was fouled in the box and it was converted confidently again by Nick Mead.
