Beeches FC 3-2 Calne United FC

Beeches Remain Second Despite Fight From United

It has been a few rough weeks for Calne United and results were not what was expected but manager Owen Davies will be much happier with the desire shown despite losing Beeches.

The first half saw no goals and when Michael Taraskevics handed the away side the lead, things looked to be on the up for United.

But this awoke Beehces from their slumber and they scored three goals without reply through Steve Ball, Aaron Masson and another from Ball.

But Calne United did not throw in the towel and they made for a nervy finish when Jordan Stewart made it 3-2 but Beeches hung on to claim the points.
