Wiltshire FA Sunday Cup Round Up – Round 3 – Sunday 6th November
The first Sunday of the month means only one thing, a round up of the action from the 3rd Round of the Wiltshire County FA Sunday Cup for those CBFL teams still left in the competition.
Audley FC 0-2 FC Walcot
Audley Run Comes To An End
There will be no further County Cup involvement for Audley as they were dumped out by Swindon League Side FC Walcot.
Goals from Terence Bohane & Alex Hammond put the Swindon side into the next round.
British Lion FC 6-0 Geroge & Dragon FC
Lion Prevails Over Dragon
It is CDFL’s British Lion who find themselves in Round 4 of the County Cup thanks to a convincing 6-0 victory over Swindon League George & Dragon.
Goals from Jake Waters(2), substitute Chris Jenkins(2), Jordan Dixon & Liam Mortimer gave Lion the comfortable victory.
Covingham United FC 2-4 AFC Melksham
CDFL Side In Hat For The Next Round
A trip to Penhill for last seasons CDFL Premier Division champions AFC Melksham as they travelled to take on Covingham United in the 3rd round of the Wiltshire County FA Sunday Cup and they will have been happy returning home after racking up a 2-4 victory.
Rhys Talmash as so often in the past came up with the goods as a hattrick alongside a goal from DJ Wheeler ensured safe passage to the next round despite a brace from the hosts Aaron Dainton.

FDC Win 4-2 On Penalties
Lavis’ run in the Wiltshire County FA Sunday Cup was ended in dramatic fashion as they exit after a penalty shootout loss.
Levi Wood was on target to give the CBFL side the lead going it the break but they were pegged back by a Reigan Cook strike but they could not be separated and 1-1 was how it stayed until the hosts prevailed in the shootout drama.
Jovial Monk FC 11-2 Corsham Rovers
Nothing Jovial For Rovers In County Cup
Swindon League side Jovial Monk were the winners of this contest against Corsham Rovers by the handsome score line of 11-2.
The aptly named Jonathan Peachey-Score bagged no less than seven goals as well as a brace from Jacob Kimber with Anthony Collett & Michael Cox completing the rout.
Scored the consolation goals for Rovers.

Scoop Through To Round Three
Scoop FC also find themselves in Round Three of the County Cup thanks to a victory over Swindon Sunday League side Royal British Legion.
The visitors Kimron Quashie saw red which no doubt was a hindrance and despite a consolation from Jamile Goodman it was goals from Rory Davis(2), Aaron Witchell(2), Lewis McCarron and substitute Nathan Baldwin ensured victory.
The Pewsham FC 4-3 Wichelstowe Wanderers FC
Veteran Browning Sends Pewsham Through
An excellent advert of football at Goatacre as The Pewsham came back from a poor start to sae off Wichelstow Wanderers from the Swindon League.
Wichelstow found themselves 3-2 down at the break despite scoring four of the goals, Daniel Murphy given the visitors the perfect start in the second minute and that was followed by a second from Liam Dixon.
Pewsham grew into the game and an own goal was followed by two Sam Parmenter goals to give them a halftime lead.
Matthew Craig then equalised for the visitors and this game became edgy as no one wanted to concede the next goal.
And it remained 3-3 until the final minute of the match when Steve Browning picked up the ball from outside the box and unleashed a superb effort that hit the back of the net shortly before the final whistle was sounded.
