BATH ROVERS AVENGE WHITEWAY DEFEAT

Whiteway FC 2 Bath Rovers FC 3

A week after being cock a hoop after bringing Bath Rovers previously unbeaten run to an end and keeping their own intact, Whiteway saw their own winning run ended by Rovers who turned the tables on their hosts.  Leading 3-2 at the break Rovers were that happy to settle for that score line at the final whistle.

Morgan Henry, Chris Spurrey and substitute Lee Rudland scoring for Bath as Gary Jones replied twice for Whiteway.

Despite close shaves at both ends the score remained the same to set up an interesting run in to the season end.

Corsham Rovers FC 1 Marshfield (Sunday) FC 2

Marshfield FC continued their run of recent good form after coming back from a 1-0 deficit at half time to overtake their Corsham Rovers FC with a 2-1 away win.

Owen Thomson had given Corsham the first half lead, but Oliver Glover and Collom McCleary’s goals in the second half sealed the points for Marshfield.  

Lansdown Reserves FC 2 Keynsham Rangers FC 2

Despite first half goals from Jake Banks and Peter Hutchinson, Lansdown Reserves FC had to settle for a 2-2 draw after leading 2-1 at half time.

Jake Whittle scoring both goals for visitors Keynsham Rangers as both teams took a point to match the 3-3 draw in the reverse fixture earlier this year.

The Pewsham FC 3 TSW FC 2

The Pewsham FC put last weeks defeat against Biddestone Athletic FC behind them as the picked up 3 points against a battling performance from TSW FC who made the Chippenham based side work hard for a victory that keeps them in the top three.

Leading 3-0 at half time after two goals from Aaron Burbidge and one from Billy Walker, a second half revival from TSW narrowly failed to get them a point. TSW goals coming from Kye Teague and substitute Alexander Holmes.

Weston Village Team Nathan FC 2 Trowbridge Athletic FC 2

When Weston Village – Team Nathan FC met Trowbridge Athletic FC back in November the teams shared 6 goals and the points from a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Once again the meeting of the teams ended in stalemate as they had to share the points as Weston Village came back after being behind 2-1 at half time to claim a 2-2 draw.

Kieran Balchin having given Trowbridge their lead with two goals. Thomas Hinton and Ioan Muresan replying for the home team as the points were shared.
