TOP FOUR WIN TO MAINTAIN STATUS QUO IN PROMOTION RACE

Bath Rovers FC 10 v Weston Village Team Nathan FC 2

Having beaten their opponents 9-1 in the away game, league leaders Bath Rovers hit the visitors Weston Village – Team Nathan with another big score as they ran out 10-2 winners after holding a 6-0 half time lead.

Chris Spurrey top scored with 4, Jordan Bradbury 3, Kaylum Escott, Thomas James Rosevear, Vijay Manro scoring for Bath on the way to their double.

Iaon Muresan and substitute Tyreece Chevolleau replying for the visitors.

Whiteway FC 11 v TSW FC 0

Whiteway FC currenty in third spot continued to match league leaders Bath Rovers as they beat lowly TSW 11-0 after holding a 5-0 half time lead.

Hat tricks for Cameron New and  Gary Jones, long with two from Tyrone Mulholland and goals from Aidan Maslen, Ashton Muir and substitute Jake Ford scored for Whiteway with the visitors being unable to respond.

Corsham Rovers FC 2 v Keynsham Rangers FC 0

Corsham Rovers completed the double over Keynsham Rangers to leapfrog them in the table.

The early season 6-1 win by Corsham was never going to be repeated against a much improved Keynsham team. The game remained goalless at half time until Owen Thomson who had scored twice in the reverse fixture did the same again to give Corsham the points with a 2-0 win

Marshfield (Sunday) FC 9 v Lansdown Reserves FC 2

Despite rallying after a slow start Lansdown trailed 4-2 at the interval and could not hold Marshfield as the home team ran out 9-2 winners.

Four goals from Samuel  Bean and two from Collom McCleary,  as well as goals from Adrian Williams, Sam Cox and George Ball did the damage for Marshfield.

Jake Banks and Harry Newell responded for Lansdown in the first half.

The Pewsham FC 4 v Biddestone FC 2

Pewsham FC maintained their push for promotion and remian second place in the table as they beat improving Biddestone Athletic 4-2 at home after holding a 3-1 half time lead.

Two weeks ago Biddestone had surprised Pewsham as they ran out 5-2 winners at Biddestone. Two goals from Sam Parmenter and goals from Aaron Burbidge and Billy Wilkins-Pratt ensured Pewsham had their revenge.

David Payne and Tom Webb’s second half goal not being enough for the visitors.
