KINGSMEAD & PF LOCO REACH SOMERSET CUP SEMIS
3rd Round – SUNDAY 27 November 2022
A strange but successful day for four Chippenham & Bath Football League based teams in in the third round of the GreenSward Somerset FA Sunday Challenge Cup with KINGSMEAD FC, PF LOCO FC and WHITEWAY FC all receiving walkovers.
FC Trinity v Wodavington (Sunday) FC
A strong performance from Division One FC Trinity saw them taking a 3-0 half time lead. A Sam Mason hat trick , two from Jared Smith-Core and goals from Kean Hayward, Tom Lakeman, Drew Lovelock and substitute Ricky McCaffery gave Trinity passage to the next round.

Farrington Albion FC v Borussia Bristol FC
Second Division Farrington Albion came up against a strong Borussia Bristol team. Holding their opponents to a 1-1 draw at half time they conceded a further five in the second half. Kash Harriot had opened the scoring for Borussia with Luke Tucker levelling for Albion. A hat trick from Keaton Cook and two from substitute Bryan Legg destroyed any hopes Albion had of progressing.
Quarter Finals – Sunday 29 January 2023
All four of our remaining shoestrings-sponsored Chippenham & Bath League teams were unfortunately drawn against each other.
FC Trinity v Kingsmead FC
High flying Premier Division team Kingsmead overcame their Division One opponents FC Trinity 7-1. Charlie Saunders led the scoring with a hat trick, Jaiden Savery netted a couple with Ryan Rudland’s single along with an own goal made up the winners 7.
Whiteway FC v PF Loco FC
Unbeaten Third Division Whiteway FC could not repeat their league form as Premier Division outfit PF Loco FC ran out 3-1 winners. Bill Turner scoring in the first half for Whiteway. His effort being a consolation as a brace from Nico Inglis along with an own goal kept Loco on the right track to reach their first ever Sunday Cup Final.
SEMI FINALS (Scheduled for 26 February 2023)
Both remaining League sides have been given home Semi Final ties KINGSMEAD FC will host Borussia Bristol at the Sullis Club and Lansdown (South) will be the venue for the meeting between PF LOCO FC and Mariners FC.
