Division One Round Up – Match Week 27 – Sunday 26th March
BOX SURGE 5-POINTS CLEAR AT THE TOP
Olympic Victoria FC 2 FC Box 5
FC Box stretched their winning run in Division One to twelve matches with a 5-2 win away at Olympic Victoria whom they had beaten 5-3 in the home meeting at the beginning of March. Completing a double, they are now five points clear at the top of the table and are odds on favourites to win back-to-back titless.
Olympic Victoria took the lead through Ciaran Llewelyn as they made Box fight for the points. Box equalised through Simon Gray before Spencer Dymond-Hall gave them a 2-1 half time lead.
Olympic Victoria equalised at the start of the second half, with Joe Buckingham restoring parity, before Liam Ralph regained Box’s lead and Simon Gray added his second to make it 4-2, with Jon Bazley scoring to round off Box’s 5-2 win.
