Division Three Round Up – Match Week 25 – Sunday 12th March

Marshfield (Sunday) FC 1 Whiteway FC 5

Marshfield’s recent run of good home form came to an abrupt end as Whiteway continued their quest for the Division three title with a convincing 5-1 win after leading 3-1 at half time. Finn Forster had given them the lead followed by two from leading scorer Gary Jones the first of which was a penalty. Adrian Williams had responded for Marshfield.

Ashton Muir and Joseph Hallsworth completed the scoring for Whiteway as they March on.

TSW FC 1 Keynsham Rangers FC 6

Keynsham Rangers bounced back from a heavy defeat last time out to inflict a 6-1 loss on TSW to complete a double after winning the first meeting 6-0.

Rangers raced into a 5-0 half time lead, but found TSW more resilient in the second half as both teams scored a goal in the second half.

A Jake Fudge hat trick, two more from Jake Whittle along with one from Dan Thompson scored for Rangers with Will Ludwell replying for TSW.
