LAVIS BEAT BEECHES FC IN 9-GOAL THRILLER

The fourth meeting of the season between these two teams produced a nine-goal thriller. Yet again Lavis came out on top but were made to work for the points. They eventually came out on top 5-4 after they led 3-1 at half time thanks to a hat trick from Oliver Sterling.

Two further goals from Matthew Purdy extended their lead to 4-1 and then 5-2 before Beeches scored twice but could not draw level as Lavis took a 5-4 away win.

Beeches’ top scorer Steve Ball and Aaron Masson both scored and Keiron Green  added a further two for the home team in an entertaining game.
