Whiteway FC who suffered only one loss in their debut season and have not dropped any points before or after that 3-2 defeat to Bath Rovers back in February, suffered what many people will view as a shock 4-2 reverse away at Two Weir Town FC who had not won since they beat Semington FC on the same day their opponents lost and comes o nthe back of defeats to Green Dragon and Old Road FC.
It would be far to say that Whiteway may well have been below par, but it was a brilliant first half performance from the home team saw them lead 3-0 at one point before Gary Jones pulled a goal back for Whiteway, however that was after Dom Wills had opened and then doubled the scoring for Two Weir Town and Adam Hodgson had added their third of the morning.
Whiteway halved the arrears through Aiden Maslen and although they went in search of an equaliser, they couldn’t conjure one and Two Weir made the points safe via a first ever goal for the club from Fergal McDonald who wrapped up a 4-2 success for home team who will look to build on the win when they face Green Dragon next week, looking to avenge their opening day loss.

The Green Dragon bounced back from last week’s defeat against Whiteway FC with a 4-0 victory on home soil against a Lansdown FC side whose defeat leaves them rooted to the bottom of the table with no points from their opening three matches.
The victory for the Market Lavington based side saw them move up to second place in the standings behind Bath Road FC.
Sam Chapman set the hosts on their way and Cameron Wildman doubled the advantage in the first half.
After the break a second from Chapman made it 3-0 before Richard Tandy bagged goal number four to seal Dragon’s 4-0 success.
