COMBE, DOWN SEMINGTON FOR DEBUT WIN
Newcomers to the League, Combe Down and relegated Semington FC were evenly matched in the first half as George Kohn opened the scoring for the home team before Oliver Gee responded for Semington to leave the teams level at 1-1 half time.
Semington could not match the newcomers in the second half as Kean Hayward, followed by two goals from Dante Swaby-Depass swung the game in favour of Combe Down.
An inspiring 4-1 victory for the home team on their League debut.
Kingfisher FC 7 Farrington Albion FC 1
FISHERMEN LOVE HOME COMFORTS
Kingfisher FC who had an impressive unbeaten run at the end of last season certainly started this season where they left off, with an emphatic win over Farrington Albion at their Buckley Barracks pitch.
Albion however surprised them by opening the scoring from Bradley Wittock. Joshua Mannings restored Kingfisher’s dominance with two goals before Adam Loveridge and Keenan Burnell gave them a 4-1 half time lead.
Adam Loveridge added his second to extend the lead to 5-1 and Keenan Burnell also scored again to make it 6-1 before Adam Loveridge completed his hat trick for a 7-1 lead.
Thomas Pielesz scored a consolation goal for Albion to leave the final score at 7-2 for home team Kingfisher.
Marshfield (Sunday) FC 1 Corsham Rovers FC 9
MARSHFIELD MAULED BY RAMPANT ROVERS
Marshfield who last season had narrowly beaten their opponents Corsham Rovers 5-4 in a division three clash at home, were put to the sword as Rovers raced into a 5-1 half time lead. Kiernan Lucas scoring for the home team.
Rovers then added four further goals to record a convincing 9-1 away win. Rovers top scorer last season, Owen Thomson started this season with four and was matched with four from team mate Elliot Heffenden.
Substitute Jake Abbott adding a goal to complete the scorers.

Westbury Rovers FC 2 Forest Renegades FC 5
RENEGADE TOM FIRES FOREST TO VICTORY
Both Westbury Rovers and Forest Renegades were evenly matched in the first half at Melksham’s Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Field with Rovers taking an early lead from Dale Rowland before Renegades Aaron Seviour equalised.
An unfortunate own goal from Dorinel Brinzaru the gave Renegades the lead. However, a goal from Aaron Burbridge for Rovers ensured the teams went in level at the break.
A second half hat trick from Renegades top scorer last season, Tom A’Court ensured that the points went to the visitors who ran out 5-2 winners.
