Corsham Rovers FC 4 Forest Renegades FC 3
BYFIELD NETS WINNER FOR LEADERS CORSHAM ROVERS
Corsham Rovers were given a fright by the improving Forest Renegades. The Chippenham & Bath Football League, Division two leader left it late before sealing a 4-3 win.
Top scorer Elliot Haffenden opened the scoring for Rovers, but Aaron Seviour pulled a goal back for Renegades to leave the teams level at half time.
Owen Thomson and Elliot Haffenden with his second goal gave Rovers a 3-1 lead before two more goals from Aaron Seviour to complete his hat trick pulled Renegades level at 3-3.
Aron Byfield however settled the game in Rovers favour as his goal gave them the points and a narrow 4-3 win.
The Pewsham FC 4 Combe Down FC 11
COMBE GRIND DOWN PEWSHAM AFTER SECOND HALF BLITZ
In a high scoring game at Goatacre, Combe Down maintained their lead at the top of Division two after an 11-4 away win over Pewsham.
Dyllan Angishan-law opened the scoring for Combe Down, Pewsham equalised before Ben Mayland scored for the visitors.
Pewsham again equalised before Dyllan Angishan-law scored his second and Harvey Ryan added a fourth. Pewsham pulled a goal back before Drew Lovelock scored to give the visitors a 5-3 half time lead.
Pewsham could not contain the visitors in the second half as Kieran Fereday and Ben Mayland with his second extended the lead to 7-3.
Although Pewsham pulled another goal back goals from Keiran Fereday (his second) and Kean Hayward extended the lead to 9-4. Two more from Drew Lovelock to complete his hat trick gave Combe Down a comfortable 11-4 away win.
Two, Pewsham’s goals came from Kadir Ahyan and Xander Tuck with the other two coming from from Steve Browning.

WESTBURY & KINGFISHER BEATEN BY THE WEATHER
Chippenham & Bath Second Division match scheduled for Bratton, between hosts Westbury Rovers FC and Kingfisher FC was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
