5-STAR FOREST ALBION RETURN TO WINNING WAYS
Chippenham & Bath League, Third Division’s basement side Weston Village – Team Nathan had no answer to the firepower of the leaders as Forest Albion raced into a 4-0 half time lead with goals from Josh Flynn and then two from their leading scorer Sean Horobin followed by a Jack Woolsgrove goal.
The Villagers did stem the goal scoring in the second half until Sean Horobin added another goal to complete his hat trick as Albion ran out 5-0 winners to maintain the pressure on unbeaten AFC Ivy who dropped down to second spot, however the Bath based side have played two fewer matches and have to yet play Mark Gee’s side.

WOOD NETS 4 AS LACOCK HIT TROWBRIDGE FOR 6
In the battle between third and fourth placed teams, it was fourth placed Lacock Athletic who put in a strong performance to take the points against a strong Trowbridge Athletic side who had won three on the bounce which included a 3-2 victory over table toppers Forest Albion.
Adam Powell opened the scoring for Lacock before two goals from Ben Wood extended their lead to 3-0 at half time.
Harry Ledbury scored for the visitors to reduce the home team’s lead.
Two more goals from Ben Wood gave the home team a 5-1 advantage and made it four goals for their leading goal scorer.
Chris Evans added a sixth for Lacock before Charlie Watson scored a consolation goal for Trowbridge. Lacock finishing with a convincing 6-2 win.
