DOUBLES ALL ROUND AS GRIFFIN BEAT WESTBURY

In what was the only match to survive the weather in The Chippenham & Bath Second Division, Griffin FC bounced back with vengeance after their disappointing loss last Sunday.

Although Edward Curtis had given Westbury an early lead, David Walton equalised before two goals from Storm Brand and a goal from top scorer Matthew Pawley gave Griffin a 4-1

Griffin added four more in the second half with two from Max Western , and second goals from both Matthew Pawley and David Walton.

An 8-1 home win for Griffin helps them maintain their pressure on the leaders.
