DIVISION THREE ROUND UP – 3rd December 2023
Lacock Athletic FC 0 Bath Road Wanderers FC 3
LACOCK SUFFER WANDERERS DEFEAT
After a good convincing win against previously unbeaten AFC Ivy the previous week, Lacock Athletic FC were brought down to earth by a solid performance from visitors Bath Road Wanderers whose form recently has been up and down.
As they began to dominate play Wanderers opened the scoring after 27 minutes with a Luke Wilkins goal. After a defensive error Jacob Applegate extended Wanderers lead in the 40th minute with a low shot from the edge of the area.
Lacock did come back in the second half but could not seem to find a final pass as Wanderers keeper was largely untested. Jordan Meakin sealed the win in the 89th minute as he broke away and took the ball past the keeper before scoring. Wanderers leaving with a 3-0 win
Warminster Athletic FC 1 Lansdown Reserves FC 2

After a good home win the previous week, Lansdown Reserves continued their good form as they visited Warminster Athletic’s St Georges pitch.
Craig Rogers gave the visitors a 1-0 half time lead.
Rogers then added a second before Darren Martin pulled a goal back for Warminster. Lansdown Reserves however held on to take the points with a 2-1 away win.
