GRIFFIN WIN BIG TO CLAIM TOP SPOT
Griffin FC who welcomed Pewsham to their Lansdown pitch had their top scorer Matt Pawley open the scoring in the first half. Dave Walton added a second as they took a 2-0 leads into half time.
Max Western added a third after the break and first half scorers Matt Pawley and Dave Walton added their second goals as Griffin stretched their lead to 5-0.
Two further goal from Matt Pawley completed his hat trick along with a fourth goal for him.
Steve Connor added a final goal as Griffin ran out 8-0 victors on the day and claimed top spot in the division as nearest rivals Corsham Rovers and Combe Down lost out to the weather.

FOREST SUFFER OLYMPIC VICTORIA LOSS
Olympic Victoria’s recent improvement in form continued as they welcomed Forest Renegades to their Odd Down home.
Jack Walker and then Andy Rhead gave the home team a 2-0 lead before Tom A’Court pulled a goal back for the visitors. Victoria’s top scorer Chris Rogers added a third before Andy Rhead got his second to give the home team a 4-1 half time lead.
Matthew Cullen extended Victoria’s lead to 5-1 before a mini revival saw Adam Roe and then Lee Ridout pull goals back to reduce the home team’s lead to 5-3.
Joe Horn however scored for Victoria to give them the points with a 6-3 win.
