Chippenham & Bath League Second Division leaders Griffin were again made to work hard to maintain top spot as they visited Pewsham at their Goatacre home pitch.
Kadir Ayhan opened the scoring for Pewsham before Dave Walton equalised for the visitors. The same two players repeated their goal scoring as both teams went into half time level at 2-2.
Max Western then gave the visitors the advantage as he scored after half time. Samuel Gimbert added a fourth before their top scorer Matthew Pawley added a fifth.
Despite Kadir Ayhan completing his hat trick, Pewsham could not pull any further goals back. Griffin ending the day with a hard fought 5-3 away win to stay top.

HORROCKS & HAYWARD GET COMBE OVER THE LINE
In a tight game at Odd Down, Combe Down maintained their recent form as they welcomed visitors Westbury Rovers.
James Horrocks opened the scoring for Combe Down before they conceded an own goal to bring the scores level.
A second goal from James Horrocks enabled Combe Down to go into the break with a 2-1 advantage.
A solitary goal from Kean Hayward in the second half saw Combe Down home as they took a 3-1 win to maintain their promotion hopes.
Forest Renegades FC 2 Kingfisher FC 3
BALDWIN BAGS FISHERMEN’S WINNER
In a see-saw game at Melksham’s Oakfield Stadium complex Forest Renegades welcomed in form Kingfisher. Joe Newman opened the scoring for the home team before Henry Galloway equalised for the visitors, Kieran Blake then gave Kingfisher the lead before Douglas Dickson equalised as the teams went into half time level at 2-2.
A goal from Kingfisher’s Edward Baldwin in the second half was enough for the visitors to take a 3-2 away win and maintain fourth place in the division.

HAFFENDEN HAVING A BALL FOR CORSHAM
Elliot Haffenden extended his lead at the top of the League’s top scorers as he helped himself to another four goals as Corsham Rovers welcomed and put guests Semington to the sword at Leafy Lane.
His first two goals gave Rovers a 2-0 half time lead.
He then scored two more after the break to extend the home team’s lead to 4-0.
Callum Thornburn and then Luke Thomson added the final two goals as Rovers took a 6-0 home win. Rovers also maintained their promotion hopes with the win.
Olympic Victoria FC 7 Marshfield (Sunday) FC 1
ROGERS NETS TREBLE IN VICTORIA ROMP
Another in form team Olympic Victoria welcomed Marshfield (Sunday) to their Odd Down home pitch.
Chris Rogers opened the scoring for Olympic and Ben Lee added a second. Chris Rogers then scored his second goal before Marshfield’s Harry Ryan reduced the lead to 3-1. Chris Rogers then completed his hat trick to take Olympic into half time with a 4-1 lead.
Ciaran Llewelyn extended the home team’s lead after the break and Ben Lee got his second to give Olympic a 6-1 before substitute Shaun Lewis completed the scoring to give Olympic a 7-1 home win to maintain fifth place in the division.
