Scoop FC are not giving up their Chippenham & Bath League Premier Division title without a fight. The defending champions who suffered a thumping 7-1 defeat at the hands of current leaders FC Devizes United at the end of November, look to have bounced back from that defeat. A 4-1 home success over Corsham Pavao means that they still very much in with a chance of claiming back to back titles.
Scoop who led 3-0 at the break opened the scoring through Jack Smith, Ryan Collins made it 2-0 before Eddie Summers added number 3.
Josh Hern who was later sent off, pulled a goal back for Pavao, but it was nothing more than a consolation as Zac Bruce added a fourth for Scoop and wrap up a victory over the team they hope can pick up at least a point from their meeting with FC Devizes next Sunday.

LAVIS HAND LEADERS 3 POINTS
They may not have needed a helping hand, but current top flight leaders FC Devizes United were given it when opponents Lavis FC who they had beaten 5-3 earlier in the season were unable to raise a team for their trip to Goatacre, meaning that the 3 points which were up for grabs were automatically awarded to James Stobart’s side.
