Bath based Whiteway FC stated the day with a 2 point advantage over Fox and Hounds(Warminster) FC at the top of the Chippenham & Bath League, First Division standings after after taking a 1-0 half time lead at the Land Warfare Centre the lead had been extended to 5 points, however a stunning second half turnaround by the hosts saw them claim a 5-1 success that in turn saw them end the game top of the table with a 1 point lead over both The Green Dragon and Whiteway.
A 16th minute Bill Turner goal for Whiteway separated the teams at half time.
Jake Wright got Fox & Hounds back on level terms on 51 minutes and they got their noses in front in the 57th minute, Toby Worts scoring to make it 2-1.
After taking the lead it was all one-way traffic as a second from Toby Worts on 66 minutes made it 3-1. Sam Wright made it 4-1 with a 71st minute finish and the scoring and Fox & Hounds stunning 5-1 triumph was completed on 79 minutes, Matt Mead scoring the final goal of the game.

DRAGON ROAR TO THIRD WIN ON THE SPIN
After winning their previous four matches Lansdown FC welcomed a Green Dragon side who had defeated them 4-0 in the reverse fixture. Looking to avenge that loss against their visitors who had beaten both Spires Athletic and Fox & Hounds (Warminster) was always going to be difficult and so it proved as the visitors were 2-1 victors.
A Jed Kirkwood goal for Green Dragon separated the teams at half time. A first goal of the season for Richard Tandy saw the visitors double their lead and although George Adshead pull a goal back for Lansdown it proved to be little more than a consolation as Dragon held on to claim maximum points which moved them into second place in the standings.
Ten minutes later Old Road did get on the scoresheet as Alex Ball lobbed the keeper to bring them back in the game.
In the 82nd minute substitute Jacob Clement restored Lansdown’s three goal advantage. In the final minute Theo Martin’s free kick sealed a 5-1 away win a double for Lansdown who recorded their third consecutive League victory of the season.

SPIRES COME FROM BEHIND TO BEAT TWO WEIR TOWN
Spires Athletic found themselves 2-0 down at the interval at home against Two Weir Town FC but just like Green Dragon did a few weeks when they came from 2-0 down to beat Spires 4-3, Kieran Baskerville’s side did exactly to same as they turned things around to claim a remarkable 3-2 success.
Dan Roberts and Luke Short scored the goals for Two Weir Town as they took a 2-0 lead into half time.
Aaron Masson a recent signing from Beeches FC started the comeback as he reduced the gap, Jack Angell levelled things up at 2-2 with his first goal for the club and Aiden Jackson completed the turnaround when he made it 3-2 with what was his first goal for the Spires.
