With just a few matches remaining for both Whiteway FCand current Chippenham & Bath League, First Division leaders Fox & Hounds (Warminster) FC in their race to for the title, it the latter who currently in the driving seat with a 5 point lead over Bath based Whiteway who have a match in hand, which if they win will take the title race to the wire.
Fox & Hounds took full advantage of their title rivals inactivity, with a 5-1 triumph away at Lansdown FC.
Toby Worts was the star of the show for Fox & Hounds, after giving his team a half time lead, he went on to complete a hat trick. Worts was assisted by both Jake and Sam Wright with the brothers each scoring to complete the winners 5 star performance.
Max Nguena with his first goal for the club gave Lansdown their consolation.

SPIRES HIT 7 TO AVENGE DRAGON DEFEAT
When Spires Athletic FC and Green Dragon met a month ago, the latter overturned 2-0 half time deficit to claim a 4-3 success, in the reverse fixture, Spires again led at the break, however a 5-0 lead was too great for the Dragon to claw back and so it proved as Spires eventually romped home to a 7-1 success.
A first half treble from Aaron Masson along with a double for Hayden Campbell put Spires well on top in the first half.
After the break, Frank Mvbuta added a couple more for Spires, while Sam Chapman got his name on the scoresheet for Green Dragon.
