SIMPKINS HAS CAMEO ROLE IN 25th SEASON
Inform Kingfisher welcomed Olympic Victoria to their Buckley Barracks pitch no doubt seeking to reverse their early season 3-2 defeat in the reverse Chippenham & Bath League, Second fixture and maintain their current unbeaten run.
Within four minutes Kingfisher had taken the lead as Henry Garroway played in Adam Loveridge, who opened the scoring with a low shot.
For the remainder of the first half it was Olympic Victoria who looked the more likely to score. They dominated the midfield but could not break down the resilient Kingfisher defence. The opening of the second half was much more even. After 58 minutes Kingfisher extended their lead when the keeper mis handled Josh Pullin’s goal bound shot.

With minutes to go, Kingfisher’s Secretary/Manager Chris Simpkins was introduced as substitute to mark his 25 years involvement with various Sunday League Football Teams.
