Chippenham based Kingfisher FC last suffered defeat in the League back in October 2023 when they went down at home 3-2 to today’s opponents Combe Down and for much of the reverse fixture it looked as if Andy Lovelock’s side were going to complete a double over their rivals.
Combe Down did charge into a two goal lead from firstly Morgan Henry and then Alfie Prescott. Kingfisher were however level at half time as Henry Garraway scored twice for the visitors as the teams shared a 2-2 score.
Combe Down’s leading scorer Drew Lovelock gave the home team a 3-2 advantage before Josh Madle equalised.
Alfie Prescott got his second to put Combe Down ahead for a third time but back came Kingfisher to level yet again as Harry Garraway completed his hat trick to give Kingfisher a 4-4 draw.

ALBION AVENGE SEMINGTON LOSS
After a narrow win away from home last week, Farrington Albion continued their winning ways as they beat Semington FC 3-0.
Semington who had beaten their hosts 6-2 back in December fell behind, Luke Tucker scoring from the penalty spot to give them a 1-0 half time lead.
Tyler Lane and an unfortunate own goal ensured their back to back wins as they ran out 3-0 victors on the day in what after 9 cautions and a red card appears to have been quite a feisty game, however both sides were bemused by some of the cautions, in what they say was a sporting contest.
