In the battle of the bottom two, The Pewsham who had switched the match from the Goatacre ground to Buckley Barracks started brightly when Chris Pickering rounded the keeper to give them an early lead after 8 minutes. It was a short lived lead asĀ Sam Mead scored for the visiting Farrington Albion a minute later. Both teams had further chances but were unable to put the ball in the net as they went in level at half time.
Five minutes into the second half Farrington took the lead after a nice break saw Ben Curtis give the keeper no chance with a well placed shot.
Gradually Pewsham came back into the game. Despite having the majority of play in the closing stages Pewsham could not break down some resolute defending as Farrington completed the double with a 2-1 away game following a 2-0 home win.
