SCOOP CLINCH TITLE IN STYLE
Chippenham & Bath League defending Premier division champions Scoop FC travelled to Lavis FC for their final match of the season and in the knowledge that as long as they avoided defeat they would clinch back-to-back titles, this they did this in style with a brilliant 8-2 victory at The Lye, Seend.
Scoop got off to a flyer with Josh Bright giving them an early lead. Ben Tylee’s deflected effort saw Lavis restore parity but not long after getting back on level terms a second from Josh Bright restored Scoop’s lead and from then on it was plain sailing for the champions in waiting.
Ed Summers made it 3-1 before Summers crashed home a 30 yard screamer for 4-1. Josh Bright completed his hat trick before Jamie Hancock added a second for Lavis.
