NATHAN LOSE BUT PROGRESS TO QUARTER-FINALS
Holding an 8-0 lead from their Subsidiary Cup first leg, tie against Farrington Albion, Team Nathan must have thought it would be an easy game especially when Leyton Sharpe scored first for Team Nathan but once George Thorner equalised in the 28th minute to leave the teams level at half time 1-1 it made for an interesting second half, but with goals in the bank it would have taken a massive implosion from the hosts for them to lose.
Farrington may have got themselves a winner, but it game when the match was drawing to a close, substitute Luke Tucker scored in the 83rd minute to give Albion a 2-1 victory.
