Griffin FC may have started the day, top of Chippenham & Bath League, Second division, however after suffering a 4-3 defeat against Corsham Rovers FC, the two sides swapped places at the top of the table.

Chippenham & Bath League, Second division leaders Griffin FC dropped an unexpected 2 points away at Westbury Rovers. Luckily for Griffin, their closest challengers Corsham Rovers also dropped points as they also drew.

With leaders Chippenham & Bath League, Second division leaders Griffin in Cup action, Corsham Rovers were presented with the chance to claim pole position, however and not for the first time this season a 1-1 draw saw them blow their chance to move above the leaders.

Griffin FC maintain top spot with high scoring victory as second place Combe Down and third place Corsham Rovers both win to help their promotion hopes. Fourth and Fifth place teams also win.

The race to become Chippenham & Bath League, Division Two champions, is proving to be a one of the best for many years.
Griffin currently top the table, but with pole position changing on a regular basis, there could be new leaders next weekend.
