At the fourth time of asking Semington FC and Spires Athletic finally got to play their PJL Rail Services sponsored Memorial Cup Semi Final tie. Spiers emerging victorious to set up a meeting with Griffin FC.

Second Division promotion hopefuls Griffin FC became to first team to book their spot in this season’s PJL Rail Services sponsored Memorial after convincingly beating Warminster Athletic 8-2. The other semi-final between Semington Magpies and Spires Athletic FC fell foul of the weather.

With Warminster Athletic already through to the last four of this season PJL Rail Services Ltd sponsored Memorial Cup, they were joined in the semi-finals by Griffin FC, Spires Athletic and Semington FC who were al triumphant in their quarter-finals ties on Sunday Morning.

Division Three strugglers Warminster Athletic were the giant killers of the First Round of the PJL Rail Services Ltd sponsored Memorial Cup as they toppled Division One opponents Old Road FC and high flying Division two Griffin beat Premier Division opponents to book a place in the quarter finals

This coming Sunday afternoon  will see the First of this season’s Shoesrtings-chargrill sponsored Chippenham & Bath Football League Cup Finals with Twerton Park, home of Bath City FC hosting the first ever Final of the PJL Rail Services Ltd sponsored Memorial Cup between top flight sides PF Loco FC and FC Devizes United.
