Read moreWhen the semi final of the Subsidiary Cup was made, there was a chance that this season’s final could be a repeat of last terms final that saw Corsham Rovers beat Griffin FC 3-0, or there would be a repeat of this year’s Memorial Cup final that saw Griffin defeat Spires Athletic 5-4 in a thriller at Odd Down.
In the end there was a repeat of any of the above as Lansdown overcame Griffin and Corsham Rovers beat Spires Athletic to reach back to back finals,
The quarter-finals of the Subsidiary cup failed to provide and upsets and with defending champions Corsham United safely through to the semi finals along with last terms beaten finalists Griffin FC, there is every chance that we will see a rerun of last years final that Corsham won 3-0.
